GANESH VISARJAN PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
ABOUT THE CONTEST –
This contest is open to all. It is organized by “The Photographic Society of India (PSI), Mumbai.”. The cash prizes are sponsored by GODOX.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS –
1. Participants have to shoot
the Ganesh Visarjan of this year. There is no specific area defined for taking pictures. Visarjans happening on any day of the festival can be clicked.
2. Participants can use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera/Cellphone to capture the images for the contest.
3. Maximum 4 images can be submitted.
4. The images to be submitted should be in digital form & JPEG format.
5. Image Specifications –
Maximum dimensions should be 1920 pixels horizontal and 1080 pixels vertical. Resolution: 300 dpi. Maximum file size 2 mb.
6. There is no entry fee for the contest.
7. The images should be mailed to 1937psi.comp@gmail.com
8. The Last date of submission of entries is 12.09.2022.
9. Images submitted will be judged by eminent photographers of PSI on 17.09.2022, and the result will be declared on 18/09/2022 on the website and communicated by mail.
10. Winners will be Awarded Cash Prizes and Certificates (Digital form).
11. Prizes for the contest winners –
First Prize – Rs. 3000/-.
Second Prize – Rs. 2000/-.
Third Prize – Rs. 1000/-.
12. Basic editing i.e., dodging, burning, cropping, color, contrast & sharpness is allowed. No image manipulation is allowed.
