Studio Rules

  1. The air-conditioned studio facilities are available only to the members of the PSI. The member will have to pay the studio deposit in full at the time of the booking. The booking can be done up to 8 days in advance excluding the date of its stipulated use. The deposit shall be Rs.3,000/- for the inner studio and Rs.4,000/- for the outer studio.
  2. The fees of the inner studio shall be Rs.1200/- for any one shift and Rs.2000/- for both the shifts (full day). The fees for the outer studio shall be Rs.2,500/- for any one shift and Rs.4,000/- f4or both the shifts (full day). The timing for the first shift shall be from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and for the second shift shall be from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Full day timing shall be from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Studio can also be hired on Sundays at an additional fee of Rs.1,000/- irrespective of the shift or type of studio booked. Members can now book both studios together at the same time for Rs.4,000/- for one shift and Rs.5000/- for full day. Strictly subject to availability, the studio can also be available for any 3 hours between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm. A member can extend the use of inner studio at Rs.200/- per hour or part thereof and outer studio at Rs.300/- per hour or part thereof. (Such extensions shall not be available for outer studio on Fridays or on the days the PSI photography class is held. Extension shall not be available after 7.00 pm from Monday to Friday and after 5.00 pm on Saturday). THE OUTER STUDIO SHALL NOT BE AVAILABLE, IF A MEMBER HAS BOOKED THE PSI PHOTO ART GALLERY FOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION.
  3. Cancellation charges shall be 25% of hire charges, if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the date of hire or 50% later than that.
  4. The Society will provide 3 studio lights (flash), 2 soft boxes, 2 grids along with backgrounds without any extra charges. Extra light shall be available for Rs.100/- each.
  5. The member and/or his/her companion(s) shall use the Society’s premises, equipment, fixtures, fittings, etc. at their own personal risk and responsibility. Any damage caused to the Society’s property will be dealt with severely and in that case the member shall be responsible to pay for such loses within 7 days of its stipulated use, failing which the Society shall have the sole right to take appropriate action against the member. In such cases, the Society shall withhold refund, if any, due to the member.
  6. The Society shall not be held responsible for any mishaps that may take place and no complaint whatsoever of any nature shall be entertained.
  7.  The Society reserves the right to refuse, cancel and/or disallow a member from using the studio facilities without giving any reason whatsoever and in such cases the fees shall be refunded fully. Society’s decision regarding refund, if any, shall be final and binding.
  8. The Society shall have the sole right/discretion regarding any matter arising from the use of premises for studio work and that shall be binding on all members.
  9. A maximum of only 8 (EIGHT) persons including member, model, make-up artist, stylist, etc. shall be permitted during each photo session.
  10. THE STUDIO WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ANY COMMERCIAL WORKSHOP OR PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS.
  11. The member will have to produce valid PSI identity card on demand, failing which the usage of studio may be disallowed.
  12. It will be the member’s responsibility to ensure that all equipments handed over to him/her are in perfect working order before he/she starts work. Later, at the end of the shoot, Society’s staff shall recheck the equipment in member’s presence.
  13. The member using the studio shall keep the equipments in order and the premises clean or else the deposit shall be forfeited.
  14. Consumption of alcohol and smoking will not be allowed in the Society’s premises.
  15. Hiring of PSI studio will imply member’s acceptance of all the above rules.
